Obituary for Katherine Idaline Kalahar
Mrs. Katherine Kalahar, 99, was called to heaven Saturday August 6, 2022, at her residence peacefully surrounded by family.
Katherine was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church since 1956. Her strong faith in God carried here through her 99.7 years. She was a feisty little lady who we sometimes wished would not say everything she thought! She worked for the Mississippi Department of Human Resources as a bookkeeper and trainer for 23 years. She was proud of the fact she had a full-time job she absolutely loved. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Michael “Jeff” Kalahar, son Jeffery, and grandson Jacob Fallo. She is survived by her son Patrick Kalahar (Myra), and daughter Pamela Fallo (Charles); grandchildren, Jon Kalahar (Samantha), Matt Kalahar (Suzanne), Kasey Chappell (Keith), Samantha Coster (Taylor); and great grandchildren, Braden, Will, Thomas, Aubrey, and Meredith Kalahar, Olivia and Lillian Heard, Rebecca and Jon Mason (Allyson), Gabriel, Joseph, Katherine, and Sophia Chappell, and Maddie and John Coster.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM by Fr. Vincent Ajayi Friday, August 12, 2022, at St. Therese Catholic Church with Interment at Rosemont Gardens Memorial Park. Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland oversees arrangements .
