Obituary for Arles Vance Crouch, Sr.
Arles Vance Crouch, Sr. Byram, MS
Arles Vance Crouch, 85, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 31, 2022 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland with burial following in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 M Sunday and 12 Noon Monday at Sebrell Funeral Home.
Mr. Crouch was born on January 22, 1937, the son of the late Ernest and Mary Elizabeth Crouch. He owned and operated Crouch Plumbing for almost 50 years. A veteran, Mr. Crouch served in the Army National Guard. He was a faithful member of Wynndale Baptist Church. Mr. Crouch was a sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Ole Miss Rebels. In his younger years, he was a competitive boxer and won the Golden Gloves of Mississippi in 1958 and 1959. He also played softball, sponsoring his own team.
Mr. Couch enjoyed spending time with his family and playing Bingo at the American Legion.
He is survived by a daughter, Tina Crouch of Jackson; son, Van Crouch of Jackson; grandchildren, Kimberly Lewis of Brandon; Nikki Lewis of Brandon; Ryan Crouch of Florence; Lindsey Crouch of Crystal Springs; Brelynne Crouch of Pearl great grandchild ,Ivy Crouch. He is also survived by a brother Bill Crouch of New Albany.
He is preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma and Earlene and his wife Margie Williams Crouch.
