Obituary for Michael David Beck
Michael David Beck entered into God’s Kingdom on November 21, 2021 at age 74 after an extended illness.
Michael was born to James Carson and Joyce Mott Beck in McComb, MS on September 18, 1947. When Michael was younger, his favorite activities were competitive swimming and baseball. He played Little League at Battlefield Park and Pony League and Babe Ruth League at Level Woods Park. He attended Provine High School and Belhaven College. He served in the United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division and as a medic in the 173rd Airborne Brigade in Vietnam. After returning home he established his own floor covering business. He attended Park Place Baptist Church.
Michael joins his parents and younger brother, Philip who have already passed in Heaven.
He is survived by many loving family members, including son, Jesse Beck, Harrisville, MS; sister, Carolyn McClain (Bill), Brandon, MS; nephews, Marc Wilson of Bolton, MS, Justin Cook of Madison, MS, Steven Beck (Pamela) of Vicksburg, MS, Carson Beck (Katherine) of Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Pacey Beck of Sallas, MS, Paizley Beck of Harrisville, MS and Brody Beck of Pearl, MS; and his beloved dog, Fred.
