Billy Joe Smith Bolton
Billy Joe Smith, 68, died July 13, 2021 at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland with burial following in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was born December 2, 1952, the son of the late Chester Smith and Dorothy Swindle. He retired as an HVAC installer. Mr. Smith was known as a collector and throughout his life he collected coins, cars and even dogs. He loved humor and loved to laugh. Mr. Smith enjoyed working on heavy equipment, dump trucks, tractors and dozers, however; he most all cherished spending time with his family, particularly his great grandchild.
He will most be remembered , beloved husband to Cheryl Jean Smith of Bolton; a cherished father to Patricia Jean Hutcherson (Steve) of Huntsville, AL and Bobbie Jo Smith of Bolton; a devoted grandfather to Alexiss Smith of Bolton; Dalton Hutcherson of Troy, MI; Hunter Hutcherson (Monti) Hutcherson of Greensboro, NC and great-granddaughter Hazeleigh Smith He is also survived by his sister, Fay Dennis Brandon MS and brother, Raymond Swindle of Pelahatchie MS.
