June was born on June 4, 1935, in Derbyshire, England, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Reynolds. In 1966, June, her husband David, and young son Paul immigrated to the United States, the land of opportunity. David Dale worked in the textile industry as a result they lived all over the United States. In 1978 June and her family all became naturalized citizens of the U.S.
June enjoyed cycling in her younger days as well as camping. Throughout her life she loved to travel and was an avid golfer well into her 70's. She was a communicant of the Episcopal Church of the Creator in Clinton.
Perhaps most of all she cherished spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed her time spent with friends at the American Legion and especially her lady Brits in the Jackson Ladies British Club. She was always known to light up a room and be the life of the party. June will be especially remembered as a beautiful English rose, beloved mother, a devoted grandmother, a cherished sister and wonderful friend, by all who knew her. June enjoyed gardening and entertaining in her home in Clinton. She spent her last year making new friends, being looked over and loved by her Clinton Brookdale Senior Living family, a true blessing.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Dale and sister Janet Burley. Her survivors include: son, Dr. Paul and Karen Dale of Macon, GA; daughter, Vicky Donaho and Doug George of Clinton, MS; grandchildren, Heather Dale of Atlanta, GA, Nicholas Dale of Macon, GA; Darby Donaho and Abby Donaho of Clinton MS; sisters, Barbara England, Violet Draper, Margaret and Tom Wood, Irene and Trevor Draper; and sister-in-law Ann Henshaw all of Derbyshire, England.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of June to the Episcopal Church of the Creator, 1445 Clinton-Raymond Road, Clinton, MS 39056.
