Obituary for Craig Emerson Powers
Craig is survived by his wife, Mary, sons Glenn and Bill, daughters Emily and Marilyn, grandchildren Matthew, Curtis, Joseph, Rebekah, Cassidy, Anna and Matalyn, and great grandchildren Maci Kate and Khamikaze Kashton. He was predeceased by his parents Craig and Gretchen, and sister Martha Brooks, all of DuBois, Pennsylvania.

Craig grew up in DuBois, Pennsylvania. He worked proudly for Sandy Township for twenty years, where he met his wife Mary, of what would have been 38 years this May. He also served as a volunteer firefighter and assistant fire chief for twenty years. His passions were gardening and grilling. There was not a flower or food that would not grow if Craig planted it, and he always preferred grilling to restaurant eating.

Craig was a member of Clinton Church of Christ. Although born and raised in Pennsylvania, he has called Mississippi ‘home’ since October 2000. All will sorely miss him.
