Obituary for Calllie Amanda Ivy Daniels-Bryant
Mrs. Callie Amanda Ivy Daniels-Bryant, 28, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Northminster Baptist Church (3955 Ridgewood Rd., Jackson, MS 39211). A memorial service will be held immediately following at 3:00 p.m., also at Northminster Baptist Church. Interment will follow the services at Northminster Baptist Church Columbarium.
Callie was born in Vicksburg, MS, to Quentin Andrew Daniels and Monica Everett Daniels. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. She worked for several local news organizations and was currently working as the Associate Editor of PMQ Magazine. Her life’s work and passion was animal rescue. She directed the Union County Human Society for three years. In that time, Callie rescued, fostered, and placed in forever homes animals across the country. She had five cats that she truly loved and that will truly miss her; Sasha, Bella, Gracie, Thomas, and Ariadne.
Callie is survived by her husband, Andrew Parker Bryant, of Oxford, MS; her mother, Monice Everett Daniels, of Jackson, MS; her father, Quentin Andrew Daniels, of Ridgeland, MS; her sister, Rose Waverly Daniels, of Jackson; and her step-father, Stacy Alan Hays, of Jackson. Callie also had a large and loving extended family.
