Obituary for Wilva Yvonne Tucker
Wilva Yvonne Tucker, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Yvonne was born on April 8, 1936, in Vivian, LA to her parents, William Henry Beets and Johnsie Katherine Whitfield Beets. She loved to go to the VFW and the American Legion and dance, she even won an award. She enjoyed spending time in her garden; she loved all types of flowers, especially roses. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and giving them candy.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Bud Tucker, two brothers, Odell Beets and Sonny Beets, and sister, Linda Beets Landry. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (David) Thornton of Flora, MS, brother, Charles Beets of Crestview, FL, sisters, Geneva Burton and Melba Hopson, both of Bentonia, MS, grandson, Harold “Hal” Thornton, and four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaylee Walden, Brody, and Bentley Thornton, and a host of nieces and nephews.
