Obituary for Wilma Jean Wilkins Clack
Wilma Jean Wilkins Clack passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 in her home in Canton, Mississippi. She was 85.
A native of Enterprise, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Zela Mae Robinson Wilkins. She moved to Pearl at a young age and was a graduate of Pearl High School.
Wilma was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Her family recalls that she was the hardest working woman as she worked three jobs to support her family. She was a woman of tremendous faith and perseverance. She tried to help everyone she could and in any way that she could. The love for her sons and the commitment she had to them was immeasurable. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and was a wonderful cook. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Canton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, James Dale Clack; and brothers: Freddie Wilkins, Bobby Wilkins, Tellie Wilkins, and Billy Wilkins.
She is survived by her sons, Paul R. Clack (Debbie) and Robert Carl Clack (Tracy), all of Madison, Mississippi; grandsons: Jake Clack, Zachary Clack, Garret Clack; great grandchildren: Anna Payton Clack, Sloane Clack, and Brody Clack.
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, August 28, 2020 for family. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service that will follow at 12 Noon at Natchez Trace Memorial Park in Madison. Social distancing guidelines are in effect.
