Obituary for Thomas Hays Barham
Thomas Hays Barham, 79, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018. A native of Philadelphia, MS, born August 24, 1938, he was the son of the late Mamie Johnson Barham and the late Dexter Vance Barham. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing and loved all things sports. Above all, he loved his family and will be missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Stephanie Barham. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Laura Barham, of Raymond; children: Michael Barham (Miriam), of Brandon, FL; John Barham (Kristi), of Lakeland, FL; Pam Barham, of Independence, MO; and Sharon Weems (Jim), of Brandon, MS; sister, Betty Barnett, of Jackson; grandchildren: Christopher, Melissa, Tyler, James, Rachael, and Rebecca; and a great granddaughter, Savannah.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Raymond with Dr. Mark Strum officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to American Cancer Society.
