Obituary for Thomas E. Guillot, Sr.
Thomas E. Guillot, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2020. He was 94 years old.
Eddie Guillot was the son of Louis Creath Guillot and Esther Self Guillot of Jackson. He was raised in Jackson, attended Power Elementary, Bailey Junior High, Baylor School in Chattanooga and graduated from Central High in Jackson. He attended Ole Miss and Millsaps College and served in The United States Navy during WWII.
In 1953 he met his wife of 64 years, Maxine Dickens of Collins. They were married one year later and began a lifetime together that became his loving focus. He is survived by his two sons, Thomas Edward Guillot, Jr. of Jackson and Louis Creath Guillot III of Falls Church, Virginia.
Eddie was an adventurer, traveler, sportsman and outdoorsman with a curious mind and an independent spirit to his last day.
A graveside service was held for family on January 13 at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
