Obituary for Terri Lynn Ferguson
Terri Ferguson, 58, passed away at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center on Saturday, April 29, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 4th, 2017 at Sebrell Funeral Home, 425 Northpark Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157. The visitation will begin one hour prior to service time, with a welcoming of friends and family at 6:00pm. She was born on February 10th, 1959 in Shamrock, Texas. She was a Christian and a woman of God who loved helping people and devoting her time to others. In the kitchen, she was an excellent and very generous cook. She was a good wife and mother to her children. She was quite intelligent when asked about plants, particular birds and domestic as well as wild animals. She could tell you the migration paths of certain fowl and feathered, flying game and also knew about the habitat and behaviors of many of God’s creatures. One could define her by her love of all things included within nature. Her hobbies included making bead bracelets and necklaces. She enjoyed her time spent on arts and painting crafts, and was exquisitely detailed in creating miniature houses. Ms. Ferguson is preceded in death by her parents. Left to treasure her memory are her spouse of 12 years, Donnie Swihart of Jackson; her beloved sons, Tony “T.J.” Ferguson and wife, Connie of Jackson; and Trevor Lee Ferguson of Florida; daughter-in-law, Connie Lee Ferguson of Pittsburg, PA; sister, Pat Taylor of Tyler, TX; sisters-in-law, Fran Isaac of Jackson, Wanda Camper of Midland City, AL, Karen Cook of Cocoa, FL, Janie Martin of Lake Wells, FL, and Donna Garrow of Palm Bay, FL, also her family to include her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of extended family and a few very loyal friends. Her family has requested instead of sending floral arrangements, would you kindly consider delivering a green plant of any variety because they will make a lasting impression for years to come and can grow on in Terri’s memory.
