Obituary for Sue Ellen Ivy
Sue Ellen Ivy, of Clinton, Mississippi went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 14, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father Felix Ivy, survived by her significant other, Robert Griffin (Bolton, MS.), her mother, Delores Ivy (Terry, MS), sister, Amy Evelyn Moore (Reverend Donald Moore) of Laurel, Mississippi sister, Barbara Marell (Dave) of Freeport, Florida, brother, Michael O’Neal Ivy (Michele), of Terry, Mississippi, brother, Reverend David King (Karen) of Defuniac Springs, Florida, daughter, Amy Janiece Smith (Reece) of Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter, Jessica Roberts (Sebastopol, MS), and seven precious grandchildren. She loved art and southern gospel music (Gaither Vocal Band). Sue Ellen had a dry since of humor that she inherited from her dad. She had a very loving and kind heart. She also received a love for drawing and painting from her dad. They had a special bond. He took care of her in her later years, before he passed, and handed that responsibility to her mother. She promised to watch over her and be her protector as long as she lived. Sue enjoyed spending time with her siblings and family. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Sebrell Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.
