Obituary for Sheila Morgan Keller, PhD
Sheila Morgan Keller, PhD, passed away at home in Brandon, MS on Friday, March 18, 2022 at the age of 62.
She was born August 1, 1959 in Pensacola, FL to Glen Stanford Morgan, Sr. and Hazel Marshall Morgan. She graduated from New Hebron High School in New Hebron, MS in 1977 before obtaining an associate degree from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She then earned her PhD at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she subsequently became an associate professor in the School of Nursing. She also had over 15 years of consulting experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as the owner of Morgan Keller Consulting.
Sheila is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark Keller; daughters Rachel Sanders of Little Elm, TX and Elizabeth Cliburn (Matt) of Brandon; granddaughters Lyric and Layla Cliburn of Brandon; and brother Stan Morgan (Missy) of Ruth, MS. She is also survived by father-in-law Jim Keller of Brandon and brother-in-law Steve Keller (Cindy) of Madison, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law Shirley Mann Keller.
Visitation, funeral and burial will take place Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Fannin (101 Church Road, Brandon, MS) with visitation from 9:30-11 a.m., followed by funeral service and burial at 11 a.m.
