Obituary for Ryan Barrett
Ryan Scott Barrett, 39, passed away January 20, 2022. He was born August 25, 1982. Ryan was an avid duck hunter and enjoyed making and collecting duck calls. He was a representative and historian for Echo Calls. He was the Chairman of the Mississippi Duck Calling Contests. He enjoyed training and running his dog, Cricket, in hunt tests. Many people knew him as someone who would speak his mind with a no-nonsense outward appearance but he was a kind hearted gentle giant who would always help a friend in need. Ryan lived a life of adventure. He is a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed.

Ryan is preceded in death by his father Charles Arthur Barrett and his beloved maternal grandmother, Robbie C. Woodard.

He is survived by his wife, Torrie Barrett; his mother, Margarett Barrett; his two daughters, Addison Rayne Barrett and Emma Scott Barrett; sister, Melissa Hakes (Timothy); brother, Jacob Barrett; father and mother-in-law, Mark and Kendra Lipper, mother of his daughters, Haley Barrett; “sister”, Regina Beeson; 4 nieces; a great nephew and niece and his best friend, Cricket.
