Obituary for Robyn Annette Chunn
Robyn Brackett Chunn, age 52, passed away August 4, 2022. She was born Sept. 20, 1969 to Charles R. and Janet Brackett in Jackson, MS. She was a graduate of Jackson Preparatory School, Mississippi State University, and earned a M.B.A. at Mississippi College. After graduation she briefly lived in Memphis then returned to Jackson and married the love of her life, Rickey. Robyn excelled at her job with the Dowell Group at Morgan Stanley under the direction of Mike and Melanie Dowell. She had a strong compassion for others and spent years working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Northminster’s Widernet committee. She loved spending time with her son Shaun whether it was watching him play football and baseball or visiting him at Ole Miss. She loved traveling, having girl’s night with her friends, and having fun. She had a servant’s heart and was loved by all. Robyn is preceded in death by her parents. Robyn is survived by her husband Richard Chunn and her son Shaun Chunn; sisters Lea Brackett Smith of Germantown, TN, Aden Brackett Giles of Pearl and brother Cameron Brackett of Germantown, TN: nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9 at 1:00pm at Northminster Baptist Church in Jackson, MS. The Service will follow at 2:00pm.
