Obituary for Robert Leslie Allen
ROBERT LESLIE ALLEN
Robert Leslie Allen died December 30, 2019 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was 74.
Born in Georgetown, Mississippi on March 28, 1945, he was the son of the late Odell and Katie Berry Allen. Mr. Allen was a longtime employee of American Can Company and was retired from Raytheon with over 25 years of service. Mr. Allen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, step father, and friend.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Lynette Allen and a granddaughter, Malynda Katherine Allen.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Y. Allen; son, Lester E. Allen; daughter, Rhonda Clark; daughter, Tonya James; grandson, Robert Michael Welch; granddaughter, Jessica Allen; grandson, Jonathon Allen; sister, Rachel Griffen; and stepdaughter, Judie Collom; and other relatives.
Services will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 02, 2020. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
Pallbearers will be Lester E. Allen, Robert Michael Welch, Eric Collom, Sean Nichols, and Andrew Gray.
