Obituary for Robert Hulon Clark
Robert Hulon Clark, 94, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday January 11, 2022, at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS.
Mr. Clark was born on October 27, 1927, in Smith County, the son of the late E L Nathan Clark and Romarie Wallace Clark.
A entrepreneur and businessman, Mr. Clark owned and operated Hulon’s Drive Inn, Frank’s Baits in Canton and most recently Ratliff Ferry Trading Post.
An outdoorsman, Mr. Clark was an avid hunter, enjoying hunting deer, rabbit and especially squirrel. He also enjoyed camping and traveling through the United States.
He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Canton.
He will most be remembered as a beloved husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather and caring brother.
Survivors include his wife Nina Clark of Canton; daughter, Kathryn Brown and husband Doug of Cypress, TX; grandchildren. Justin and Kevin Brown of Cypress, TX; Bobbie Rae Clark, Chase Clark and great grandchild, Jaden Clark of Ft. Worth, TX; brother, James Fairl of Puckett; sister, Barbara Jordan and her husband Winfred of Madison; numerous nieces nephews. He is also survived by his best buddy, Booger, his beloved Fiest squirrel dog.
Along with his parents, EL. Nathan Clark and Romarie Wallace Clark, he is preceded by his daughter, Nell Sanford; son, Robert Hulon Clark, Jr., sister, Kathleen Sellers, brother, Billy Joe Clark and sister, Doris Sullivan
