Obituary for Pleas Miller Norris
Pleas M. Norris, 80, passed away November 23, 2020 after many grueling years with dementia. He was a wonderful husband, daddy, granddaddy, and friend. His favorite part of being an attorney was helping families especially with adoptions. Also, he served as Senior Attorney for the Mississippi Insurance Department for many years. Prior to that he worked on the staff of Governor William Waller. He is survived by his wife, Janet, daughters, Brittaney McDaniel and Lacey Norris, son-in-law, Adam Brown. His grandchildren are Braden and Ethan McDaniel and Catherine and Cashton Brown. We all had a chuckle and are happy that he is whole again in Heaven riding that tractor he loved, along with hunting and fishing. A private family memorial will be held.
