Obituary for Pattie Evans Yerger Fowler
Pattie Evans Yerger Fowler, 94, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Compere’s Nursing Home in Jackson. A native of Rosedale, MS, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Pattie Yerger. Mrs. Fowler was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton. She was a member of several organizations including Ralph Humphreys and Walter Leake chapters of the DAR, the Colonial Dames of Mississippi, the Huguenots of Mississippi, and the Clinton Study Club. She served as Librarian for the city of Clinton during the 1960s. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ray Owen Fowler. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Fowler Weeks and Leslie Fowler Mabry; sister, Kate Box; nieces, Lucinda Box Willis and Malinda Box Robinson; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Clinton City Cemetery, Rev. Ramey Hankins officiating.
