Obituary for Patricia Meadows Peck
Patricia Peck was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She left this world peacefully on December 31, 2021.
Pat was born to Dennis and Christine Meadows in Dalton, GA on January 29, 1942. Along with her younger brother, Dennis Jr., she grew up in Atlanta and was truly a “Georgia Peach” – soft and sweet with a solid core of a heart. Following high school, Pat’s restless thirst for adventure and a deep sense of compassion drove her to go off to college and study occupational therapy. It was during this time she met her husband, Jim Peck. They went on to enjoy 53 wonderful years together and had two children, Jennifer and Jeremy.
Pat loved everything and everyone. Her generous nature shined through in all she did. She enjoyed creating delicious meals for her family and friends, caring for her garden, and volunteering at church, school, and in a variety of community activities. Perhaps her greatest fear was missing out on a good time. Pat gifted those around here with love, laughter, and joy – always. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00pm on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Northminster Baptist Church located at 3955 Ridgewood Road in Jackson, MS.
