Obituary for Noah Davidson Smith
Noah Davidson Smith, 20, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at home. Noah’s life will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, MS with burial following in Natchez Trace Memorial Park in Madison. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 29 at Broadmoor Baptist Church.
Noah was born on June 15, 1998. A resident of Madison, he attended Madison Central High School. Noah enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was an accomplished cook and was a talented writer, poet and artist. He had a keen wit and an infectious smile. Noah was a skilled baseball and basketball player and was a member of the varsity basketball team at Madison Central High School. He was a huge sports fan and especially enjoyed watching the Jacksonville Jaguars. His faith was a very important part of his life, and he attended Broadmoor Baptist Church.
Noah will be most remembered as a beloved son, a devoted brother and a cherished grandson and nephew.
He is preceded in death by grandparents, W. E. “Billy” Meador of Madison and William C. “Bill” Smith, Jr. of Jackson.
Survivors include: his parents, James and Charlene Smith of Madison, MS; mother and step-father, Cyndi and Michael Hayes of Florence; sisters, Perriann Smith of Madison and Shelby Musgrove of Crystal Springs, brother, Tyler Hayes of Florence; grandparents, Martha Meador of Madison; Lola Smith of Jackson; Janice Peacock of Starkville; David Peacock of Mathiston; Gary Scheff (Jan) of Tallahassee, FL and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers are Wic Smith, Forrest Smith, Cole Green, Franklin Miskelly, Easton Palmer, Peyton Case, Michael Znachko, Dalton Jackson, Dylan Dixon, Blake Collins, Andrew Slater and Brandon Mason.
