Obituary for Morris "Brad" Stubbs
Morris Bradley “Brad” Stubbs, 59 of McComb, MS passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Brad was born in Benoit, MS where his adventurous spirit was kindled through the vast Mississippi Delta. Later, he attended Provine High School where he picked up his craft at a young age and would ultimately become able to repair most anything and build whatever his creative mind could picture. He was happiest going as fast as a Harley would take him, floating as slow as the river’s current would push him, or while using his skills to help others. If he called you a friend, you were one of the few; it was the most endearing term he gave. Preceded in death by his father, James Bradley Stubbs. He is survived by his children, Amanda (Johnny) Williams, Shawn Gavidia, and Brice (Kristi) Stubbs; his grandchildren Tanner Culbertson, Alexandra Lawson, Carlie Williams, Kara Stubbs, and Nathan Stubbs; his expected great granddaughter Kennedi Culbertson; his mother Ethelene Stubbs; his sisters Juanita Bishop, Tessa Waggoner, Wonda White; and his many nieces and nephews Visitation will be at the Sebrell Funeral Home at 425 NorthparkDr, Ridgeland, MS 39157 on Monday, July 17th, 2017 from 11:00 am to the 12:00pm Memorial Service. A memorial ceremony will follow on the shore of the BougeChitto River at a later date. Love many, trust few, and always paddle your own canoe!
