Obituary for Michael Luke Patrick
Michael Luke Patrick died August 21, 2017 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Michael was a graduate of Byram High School and Mississippi State University. Having received numerous accolades for artistic grocery displays, he was currently employed with the Frito-Lay Company which he enjoyed very much.
Michael adored his children, Shanna, age 11, and Shawn, age 8, and loved taking them on outings and being active with them in scouting and sports. He loved animals and was active in supporting local animal rescue efforts. An independent spirit and always willing to work hard at whatever task was at hand, Michael was a well-loved man who knew his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He will be missed by his many friends and his loving family.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Luke Patrick, Perry and Claudia Eakes, and Ray and Bonnie Murphey. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Jo Ladner; children, Shanna Michelle and Shawn Luke Patrick; parents, Jerrell and Jackie Patrick, and John and Bonnie Evans; and parents-in-law, Wendell and Bonnie Ladner.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. On Friday, August 25, 2017 at Lakeshore Church, 6880 S. Siwell Rd., Byram, MS 39272 where friends are invited to visitation with the family after 10:00 a.m.
The family requests memorials be made to the Mississippi State University Autism & Developmental Disabilities Clinic, 299-1 Morrill Rd., Mississippi State, MS 39762.
