Obituary for Michael G. "Buck" Buchanan
Michael G. Buchanan (Buck), (60 years) died peacefully in his sleep May 21, 2022 on a cruise with his family. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, with visitation beginning at 12 Noon at the funeral home.
He's survived by his wife of 34 years, Robin, daughters, Haley Scheurer (Bryc), Mallory Buchanan (Kristie), son, Taylor Buchanan, Mother, Mary Todd Buchanan, sister, Marci Kinchen, grandchildren, Ryleigh Claire, Ryder and many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Buchanan, grandparents George and Mary Todd, Winn (Buck) and Lucy Buchanan.
Mike was a 24/7 true Family /Company Man (33 years) Southern States Utility Trailer Sales, Inc. He gave his tireless BEST - attention, thoughtfulness, integrity, work ethic and loyalty over all else.
The outdoors was his playground-ever mindful of the environment and safety, he hunted, fished and gardened with full enjoyment and respect. He was a lifelong cradle Methodist. Memorials may be sent to American Heart Association, 4830 McWillie Cir, Jackson, MS 39206, or a donation of choice.
