Obituary for Matthew Ross Griffin
Matthew Ross Griffin, 33, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Thursday December 8,2016 at the family home in Byram, Ms. He was born February 21,1983 in Jackson, MS. He is the son of Ken and RoseAnn Griffin. Matt attended Whitten Attendance Center. He is survived by his mother RoseAnne Griffin, his wife Laura Griffin, his step daughter Ashley (Kaylee) Estes, his fur baby Scooter, brothers Aaron (Cristy) Griffin, Joey (Stephanie) Griffin, nieces and nephews Brandie and Aleaha Griffin, Jacob, Derrick, and Logan Griffin, Uncle Joe (Beth) Patrizzi, and many cousins. Matt was preceded in death by his father Attorney Baxter Kendall Griffin, and maternal and paternal grandparents. Matt was a fun, loving, caring, and mischievous person; with the most contagious laugh. He was very creative, and loved to paint and build things. He loved anything dealing with theoretical physics. He loved his family very much. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Terry on Wednesday, December 14,2016. Visitation will be held in the Sanctuary at 1 pm with the Service beginning at 2 pm. Burial will follow at New Zion cemetery in Crystal Springs.
