Obituary for Mary Virginia "Gina" Gibbons
Mary Virginia “Gina” Gibbons, 69, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at UMC in Jackson.
A native of Jackson and born June 24, 1948, she was the daughter of the late William and Kathryn Wilson. She had been employed with Gayfers for over 15 years of service. Baptized into her faith at Van Winkle Baptist Church, she had attended Friendship Baptist Church for a number of years.
Gina had a deep love and affection for animals. She will be surely missed by “Gabriel”, her beloved cat.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bill Wilson.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Gibbons, of Raymond; sister, Betty Wilson Lyle (John), of Ridgeland, three nieces, four nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Sebrell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held after 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
