Obituary for Martha Stewart Bennett
Martha Stewart Bennett, 77, died Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Baptist Medical Center.

Mrs. Bennett was born in Utica and graduated in 1956 from Utica High School. The same year, she married John W. Bennett at the Utica United Methodist Church. A resident of Jackson for 60 years, she retired from the MS State Tax Commission, Gayfers, Dillards and Fitness Lady.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Bennett and son, Bill Bennett.

Survivors include: daughters, Elaine Bissell (Allen) of Fairview, TN Susan Chancellor (Joey) of Clinton; Nancy Matthews(Alan) of Jackson; Carol Johnson (Ronnie) of Madison; 8 grandchildren , 7 great grandchildren, brother, Leon Stewart (Judy) of Madison and many faithful family and friends.
