Obituary for Martha Saxon Stott
Martha Saxon Stott, 69, died peacefully on November 27, 2017 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation will be held A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland with a graveside Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Meadville City Cemetery in Meadville, MS. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Sebrell Funeral Home.
Martha was born on December 24th, 1947 to Thomas Mack Saxon and Marjorie Evans Saxon. She was the owner of a very successful alteration business and was seamstress to some of the most prominent residents of Jackson and the surrounding areas of the metropolitan city. Before her battle began with a debilitating auto immune disease, she worked out and led an extremely active lifestyle.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 19 years, Dave Stott of Ridgeland; two daughters, Mitzi (Alan) Wilkinson of Madison and Amie (Chuck) Douglas of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Shelby Wallace Terrell of Madison and Delaney Wallace of Oxford.
