MARK DEWAYNE BARHAM
Mark Dewayne Barham, 79, of Morton, died Thursday, August 31st, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Born August 8, 1938 in Neshoba County, MS, he was the son of the late Ernest Barham and Mary Alice Hudson Barham. He had owned and operated Barham & Sons, a dirt contracting business for over 26 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend to all and will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Pilgrim Barham; and a son, Ernest Hue “Butch” Barham. Survivors include his wife, Betty Barham, of Morton; son, Robert Barham (Patsy) , of Philadelphia, MS; daughter, Sissy Andrews (Michael), of D’Iberville; brother, Richard Barham (Gail), of Polkville; grandchildren: Justin Barham (Niecy), Ashley Ramsey (Jay), Mallory McCann (Ryan), Austin Andrews and Ashton Andrews; 11 great grandchildren, 4 step children, 8 step grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held after 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017 at Morton United Pentecostal Church, 6222 Hwy 80, Morton, MS 39117 where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Barron Price officiating. Interment will follow in Morton Memorial Gardens.
