Obituary for Marjorie Parkison
Marjorie Parkison went home to be with the Lord at her home in Chateau Ridgeland on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Parki was born to Hugh and Florence Clark of Florence, MS, on October 17, 1925. She is survived by her son, Troy Dean Parkison, Jr. (Beverly) of Madden, MS; and her daughter, Joy Parkison Allen (Bobby) of McKinney, TX. She is also survived by one sister, Joanne Clark Blackwell of Star, MS; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren. Parki was preceded in death by her son, Clark Aaron Parkison; and her grandson, Ben Parkison.

Parki was a member of her beloved Broadmoor Baptist Church from its beginning and then in her later years, was a member of Trace Ridge Baptist Church. She was best known for her love of Christ and sharing His love with everyone she came in contact with. She was passionate about doing for others, giving to others and sharing the love of Jesus. You were always greeted with a big smile, a big hug and hearing "To God be the glory, great things He hath done"
