Obituary for Margaret Gracy
Margaret Ann Gracy died unexpectedly on July 25, 2021 at her home in Clinton, Mississippi.
Margaret was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in English. Margaret worked for 27 years at Gayfers Department Store as a Bridal Dress Buyer/Bridal Consultant until they closed. Margaret worked for the Oil and Gas Board for an additional 19 years before her unexpected passing. She was a much-loved staff member of the agency and will be dearly missed. Margaret loved old movies, music, and was an avid reader.
She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice Gracy and Marguerite McNelis Gracy and her beloved cats: Neo, Max, Teddy, Timmy, and many others.
Funeral services for Margaret Ann Gracy will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle located at 123 North West Street, Jackson, Mississippi.
Immediately thereafter, graveside services will be conducted at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., Jackson, Mississippi 39209.
