Obituary for Margaret "Dell" Rollins
Margaret G. “Dell” Rollins passed away March 10, 2021 at her residence in Brandon, MS. She was 66. Dell was born to the late Garland and Martha Jo Grice on August 16, 1954 in Atlanta, GA. She had a fun loving, sweet spirit that was spontaneous and adventurous. She enjoyed going on trips, shopping with the girls and had a love for others that was to be admired. Dell loved and adored children, she had a special place in her heart for all children. She was a member of Faithview Baptist Church in Raymond where she loved and served her community. She had a natural talent for art and was always crafts of all kinds, especially wreaths and those made of wood. Her love for animals was also a defining characteristic, Lillie Bell and Emma Grace brought her so much joy. In her last days, she became close to the children next door, even using sidewalk chalk to reveal expressions of love. Dell loved and was loved by those who knew her; she will be missed greatly by all. She is preceded in death by her parents. Dell is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Larry “Robo” Rollins of Brandon, MS; her sons, Patrick (Jamie) and Marc (Rachel) Rollins both of Pearl, MS and Heath (Christa) Grice of Richland, MS; daughter, Brandie Howington of Hillsdale, MS; brother, Leon “Bucth” Dutton (Lisa) of Florence, MS; sister, Jean Rester of Hillside, MS; grandchildren, Presley and Tristen Rollins and 8 special grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; nephew, Joshua Rollins (Shauna) of Vicksburg, MS. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 11 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Blvd in Jackson, MS.
