Obituary for Margaret Broerman
Margaret (Peggy) A. Broerman, age 79, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2018. Peggy was born on September 26, 1939, in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from high school in Evansville, Indiana. This is where she met the love of her life, Ramon. Peggy was a devoted USAF wife and gave everything in her support of her husband. She was also a dedicated mother who loved her children with her whole heart. Peggy was actively involved in several bridge clubs in the Jackson, Mississippi area, the former Community Children’s Theater, and Welcome Neighbors Club. She was a member of St. Columb’s Episcopal Church where she was also an active member of The Order of the Daughters of the King until her health declined. She is survived by two sons; Scott (Marty) of Annapolis, Maryland; Kevin (Carol) of Scottsdale, Arizona, and one daughter, Megan (Tommy) of Ridgeland, Mississippi, as well as eleven grandchildren, Kristina, William, Jessica, Sarah, Cate, Kellyn, Annalise, Reenie, Karoline, Charlie and Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon K. Broerman; her sister, Barbara Clark; her father, William H. Newman; and her mother, Dorothy M. (Puder) Newman. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, January 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Columb’s Episcopal Church, 500 Sunnybrook Road, Ridgeland, Mississippi with a reception to follow at the same location. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Peggy’s life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Columb’s, Mississippi Animal Rescue League or ministry/charity of your choice.
