Obituary for Margaret Allain Gibbs
Margaret Allain Gibbs, 93, died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Briar Hill Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Natchez City Cemetery.
Margaret Allain Gibbs was born on April 16, 1924, in Natchez, the daughter of the late Henry and Leona Allain. A retired secretary, she worked for the City of Natchez in the tax office. A lifelong Catholic, she cherished spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Governor William A. Allain, brother, Henry Allain and sister, Mary Peale.

Survivors include: daughter, Charlene Combest and husband, Tommy of Florence, MS; grandchildren, Megan Holeman and husband Dexter of Brandon; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Caleb Holeman; sister, Mildred Newsome of TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
