Obituary for Marci Hardwick
Marci V. Hardwick, 61, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. Dominic's Hospital. A memorial service will be held at Sebrell Funeral Home from 10A.M.-12 P.M. on December 19, 2018; Service will follow beginning at 12 P.M.
A native of Mobile, AL, born August 28, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Alvine and Jo-Anne(Payne) Vespaziani. She graduated from Gulf Coast Academy in 1975. She will be remembered as the most generous person we've ever known. She always thought of others above herself. She never came to visit empty handed. That was just who she was; she loved to make you smile. Giving was her way of serving the Lord and brought her so much happiness. She was a constant light in everyone's life. She lived for the beach, loved to spend time with her grandson, her children and her husband of 34 years. The past two years she has been the epitome of strength and courage while also showing grace in some of the most arduous times. She never complained and tried to live each day to the fullest. Our world will not be the same without her. She was the BEST mother; so supportive, encouraging and forgiving and we couldn't have asked for a better role model. We hope one day we can live up to her heart and make her proud from heaven. We will love you forever. We miss you already. Marci is survived by her husband- Tommy Hardwick from Ridgeland, MS; daughters- Kristi Faith (Chris) Smith from Flora, MS and Kalea Hope Hardwick from Brandon, MS; grandson- Christopher Cade Smith; and sister- Vicki Davis from Mobile, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The American Cancer Society in her memory, 1380 Livingston Ln, Jackson, MS 39213.
