Mr. Heard was predeceased by his parents, seven siblings, and his first wife of 38 years, Nan Brantley Heard. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Myrna Heard, daughter Carla Cassandra (Frank) of Lake Worth, FL, and son Rev. Jerrard Heard of Los Angeles, CA.
