Obituary for Lisa Leigh Newman
Lisa Leigh Newman passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She had just celebrated her 22nd birthday. She was born in Flowood on December 5, 1999, the daughter of Walter A. Newman and Barbara A. Avery. Lisa graduated from Terry High School in 2018. She was a good student, loved her family and friends and enjoyed drawing as she had a very creative side. Lisa loved cats, especially her cat, Dawn. She is a mother, daughter, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.
Lisa is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Phillip Lamar Newman and grandmother, Alice Evans Newman; her maternal grandmother, Sue “Meme” Richardson.
She is survived by her father, Walter Newman of Jackson; mother, Barbara Avery of Arkansas; step mother, Jimi Newman Pace of Florence; her daughter, Isabella; brother, J.D. Scott (Jackie); two sisters, Lexie Lawrence and Megan Wade; two nephews; her Pawpaw, Dan White and Mark Wade.
