Obituary for Lennie Louise Crawford
Lennie Louise Crawford, 93, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 28, 2017 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church with burial following in Lakewood Memorial Park South. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
Lennie was born on December 24, 1923, in Lexington, MS, the only child of O.L. and Lennie Crawford. She retired from the G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Veterans Administration Hospital where she worked for many years as a secretary. A creative artist and sculptor, Lennie was a faithful servant to the Lord and longstanding member of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: cousins, Nora Woods and husband, Cecil “Bubba” of Columbus, MS and Dr. Greg Fant and his wife, Beth of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Frieda Richardson and husband Hal of Madison, Ms; Ralph Hemphill and wife Ann of Milledgeville, Ga
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Redeemer Presbyterian church.
