Obituary for Laura Ann Haynes Whitehead
Laura Ann Haynes Whitehead, 82, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in her home.
A native of Pelahatchie and born, July 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Christopher and Lucille Haynes.
Mrs. Whitehead will be remembered for her kindness and tender heart. She was outgoing and loving to everyone she met. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Roland Whitehead; her children: Ronnie Whitehead (Karen), of Byram; Kenny Whitehead (Ginger); Connie Snow; Susie Culipher (Al); Ann Pugh; and Judy Cook (Charley), all of Canton; sisters: Margie Manning, of Canton; Mary Cunningham (Dan), of Vicksburg; and Carolyn Saxton (Larry), of Canton; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Sebrell Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Danny Barry officiating. Interment will follow in Canton City Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 12:00 Noon Saturday at the funeral home.
