Obituary for Larry Dean Odom
Larry Dean Odom, 59, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. A Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Sebrell Funeral Home, 425 Northpark Drive, Ridgeland, Mississippi.
Larry was a loving, compassionate and big hearted son, brother and father. He loved and treasured his mother and he was always there for her. When it came to his girls, Tonya and Lauren, he wasn’t afraid to show how proud he was and that he loved them dearly. He worked as an auto mechanic and was a car enthusiast. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Oliver Odom, brother, Darrell Odom and his son, Tim Odom.
He is survived by his mother, Jean Johnson; daughters, Tonya Bishop and husband, Michael of Brandon, MS and Lauren Odom also of Brandon, MS; brothers, James Odom and wife, Anna of Brandon, Randy Odom and wife, Kathy of Starkville and Mitchell Odom and wife, Penny from the Mississippi Coast; sisters, Debbie Robinson and husband, Craig of Meridian and Ronda Jackson of Florence; grandchildren, Abby Bishop, Parker Bishop and Libby Bishop, also nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
