Obituary for Kuldeep Safaya
Kuldeep Safaya, 64, passed away on December 18th at UMMC hospital in Mississippi (USA) surrounded by his family. He was born in Srinagar, Kashmir (India) to parents Jia Lal Safaya and Jai Kishori Safaya. He attended DAV high school and SP college in Srinagar, Kashmir. He would later complete his masters in computer science at Alcorn State University in Mississippi (USA). He married Swasti Safaya on 8/15/1986 in Srinagar and they would later move to Hyderabad, India. Together they had a loving marriage and two children (Shilpa and Eshan Safaya). He started his career as a pharmaceutical representative in India and would later move to the United States where he worked as a computer analyst. Youngest of three siblings, he was dearly loved by his brother (Surinder Safaya) and sister (Phoola Dhar). He enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping, watching movies, and spending time with his friends and family. In addition to being a loving husband and caring father he was also a hard working, kind, patient, and compassionate human being. He was a pure soul who always had good things to say about anyone he met. He had the ability to always see good in others and passed that on to his family. He lend a helping hand to everyone that he met and ensured that he thanked everyone along the way. Despite all his hardships in life, he ensured his family was taken care of at all times. He was a noble soul who lived a simple life. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Swasti Safaya, son (Eshan), and daughter (Shilpa - married to Ankit Ghasi).
