Obituary for June Holmes Johnson
June Holmes Johnson, 68, of Madison, MS, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
June was born in Grenada, on June 4, 1950, to the late Bennett Holmes & Claire Herman Holmes.
She is survived by her husband, William Harold Johnson; two daughters, Jill Johnson Bowdon (Dobson) of Madison MS, and April Johnson Temple (Paul) of Southlake, TX; granddaughter, Anna Claire Bowdon; two brothers, Edwin Holmes of Jackson, MS, and Greg Holmes (Cheryl) of Duck Hill, MS; her cousin, Frank Goldman of Jackson, MS.
Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25th at First Baptist Church, Jackson, the Rev. Tom Washburn officiating. Private interment services in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Visitation 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 24th at First Baptist Church, Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Jackson, Attn: Barnett Sunday School Class – P.O. Box 250, Jackson, MS. 39205, or The Breast Cancer Research Foundation in memory of June Johnson.
