Obituary for Juanita Lavern Hunt
Juanita L. Hunt died on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in her home in Flora. She was 65.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee and born December 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Harlin Franklin Potts and the late Fannie Mae Tedwell Potts.
Mrs. Hunt loved the Lord and lived her life in the Christian faith to love and care for her family and friends. She had the unique ability to turn her encounters with others into friendships; she never met a stranger. She devoted any opportunity to make her home for her husband and family a loving, comfortable, and welcoming place. She loved fashion and clothes and enjoyed shopping for them. Above all things God first. . .but her family she adored and loved. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Dorris Edgar Potts, Bedford Potts, and Sammy Dale Potts; and a sister, Beatrice Potts.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Dayton, of Flora; daughters, Tammy Mechelle Cunningham Howalt and Tasha Dawn Hoover; a son, Robert Troy Nicoletti; grandsons: Robert Jacob Nicoletti, Cyrial Theodore Howalt, and Jensen Howalt; her sisters: Betty Loucille Potts Webber, Ludie Ann Potts Crafton, and Wanda Genette Potts Withrow; a brother, Donald Lee Potts; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 6th, 2018 in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs.
