Obituary for John Richard Anthony Thrasher
(AKA Lil Man) passed away Tuesday, March 30th, 2021. He was 28 years old. John was born in Jackson, MS on April 16th, 1992 to R. C. Kilcrease, Jr. and Mildred Bunn Kilcrease. John was a very loving, fun, playful soul with a big heart. He had a smile that could light up a room and could always brighten anyone’s day. He enjoyed fishing, boat rides, playing his Xbox, helping his dad cut the grass and many other activities with his family, especially outdoors. He was very passionate about NASCAR racing, the Fast and Furious’ cars and gear, and WWE Wrestling (John Cena the most.) John loved his family very much and was loved by so many and he will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Smith, his uncle, Roger Ruffin, and his aunt Terrie Steadham
John is survived by his parents, R.C. and Mildred Kilcrease of Morton, MS; his brother, Michael Wayne Kilcrease of Byram, Ms; sisters, Mary Thrasher of Pearl, MS and Cassandra Parks (Chad) of Florida; nephews, Chandler Teasley and Reese Busby, Alex Parks and Jacob Parks and his nieces, Alexus Teasley, Zara Parks, Carolina Parks, Shelby Parks, and a host of uncles and aunts.
Visitation will begin at 12 pm and Service will begin at 1 pm on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS with Rev. Tim Robertson officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service around approximately 3 pm at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Morton, MS.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael Wayne Kilcrease, Joshua Spann, Robert Kilcrease, Chris Beale, and Kenny Medders
