Obituary for John Leslie Merritt
John Leslie Merritt was born August 8 1960, to the late Jess Willard Merritt,and Pauline Elizabeth Saladin Merritt. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Ann Comans Merritt. Whom was laid to rest on 7/17/13. He is survived by Leslie Ann Merritt Kemper, 37 of Jackson Mississippi. Margaret Elizabeth Merritt Henson,26 of Tallulah Louisiana. Sherry Pauline Merritt 23 of Utica Mississippi. Joan Marie Merritt ,15 of Byram Mississippi. He is also survived by nine grandkids. He was a loving Father. He attended WingField High School. Then proceeded in a career in Construction work. Later to become a Master Carpenter for 35 years . The last five years of which he worked for Bridges Custom Cabinets, as a valued Team member. He was an important member of not only our family, but our community. John was at home as per his wishes under the care of his oldest daughter when he was called back to heaven. He will be remembered and loved by many. Never to be forgotten ...
