Obituary for Jim Keel
Jim L. Keel, 99, a fine Christian man who went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Castlewood Place in Brandon, MS.

Services will be held in Naylor, MO.

Mr. Keel was born on May 19, 1922, in Pine, MO, the son of the late Jasper and Ruby Keel. A veteran, he proudly served his country in the Army Air Force, 5th Airborne Squadron. For his service to his country, Mr. Keel was awarded the Bronze Star.
Mr. Keel retired from Compete Auto Transit where he worked as a truck driver. During his career he was awarded the 1975 Truck Driver of the year.

Mr. Keel enjoyed traveling, he and his wife, Myrtle traveled through the United States in their RV, visiting all 50 states. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a half brother, Edward Sprague.

He is survived by his daughter, Karynn Johnson (Johnny) Auburndale, FL son,; daughter, Phyllis Channell ( Jerry) of Brandon; Jim Keel of Pearl,4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
