Obituary for Jesse Mitchell Coleman, Sr.
It is with sadness the family of Mr. Jesse Mitchell Coleman, 64, announce his sudden passing on Thursday afternoon, February 11, 2021, at his home in Jackson, Ms. Mr. Coleman, retired, had previously been employed by Bracken Construction of Jackson, Ms. He graduated from Bruce High School where he played several sports and was an engineering graduate at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, Nc. He also continued his education at Memphis State in Memphis, Tn. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Lura Brasher of Bruce, Ms and Josiah and Leana Coleman of Bruce, Ms; Danny Keith Coleman of Water Valley, Ms, brother. Survivors include his parents Jesse Eugene and Patsy Yvonne Coleman of Water Valley, Ms, daughter Christen Kara Coleman of Oxford, Ms; son Jesse Mitchell Coleman II of Oxford, Ms.; grandson Thomas Gavin Coleman of Oxford, Ms; brother Michael Coleman of Tupelo, Ms; sister in law Ann Moore Coleman of Tupelo, Ms; sister in law Shelia Coleman of Water Valley, Ms and Linda Brewer his girlfriend of Jackson, Ms. There will be a small service for immediate family members only. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the American Heart Association.
