Obituary for James David "J.D." Williams
James David “J.D. Williams, 84, passed away on May 26th, 2018 at his home in Canton. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018 at Center Terrace Baptist Church, with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M at Center Terrace Baptist Church, 605 E. Peace Street, Canton, MS. Burial will immediately follow the service at Canton City Cemetery in Canton, Mississippi. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dave Anderson and Ethel Estelle Turner; siblings, Fletcher, Howard, Richard, Shelby, Norene and Sadie; also his son, Paul Williams. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Williams; daughter, Lynn Lester; sons, David Williams and James (Donna) Williams; sisters, Mary Spears and Kathryn Watson; brother, Bobby (Ollie) Williams; sisters-in-law, Irene Williams and Rose Williams; grandchildren, Johnathan (Amanda) Williams, Paul Lester, Jessica Adams and Justin Williams; great-grandchild on the way and 3 great-granchildren; many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews whom he loved and prayed for every night. Those who knew him loved him.
