Obituary for Jacqueline Rankin
Jackie Rankin, 73, of Flora, Mississippi passed away at her home in Flora, Mississippi the morning of November 27, 2017. She was born October 19th, 1944 to E.A. and Ruby Hazel Sigrest. She attended Flora High School and Holmes Junior College. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband James Oree Rankin Jr. Jackie was a bookkeeper for Lester and Wilcher Abstract Company and later T and T Portable Buildings and Hardware before retiring. She is survived by her children, James J. Rankin (Angie), Jason Scott Rankin, Jennifer Rankin, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Flora Baptist Church where she taught a toddler Sunday school class in the late 70’s and early 80’s. She is a loving member of the Flora Community. A visitation will be held Thursday, November 30th, 2017 at Sebrell Funeral Home from 5:00PM – 7:00PM with a graveside at Bethel Cemetery Friday, December 1st, 2017 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to find a cure for children. Lastly the family would like to thank Sta Home Hospice for our mothers care.
